I read this book sooo many years ago. Elena and her two lover-bro vamp men captivated me thru the series - 3 books I think it was - and I would read it again. The show however... well, put it this way: If you think True blood or any of the other vampire tv dramas that are on right now are "awesome, with great special effects, talented actors and spellbinding plots.." then you're just the audience these fools - I mean this great show - is looking for! :)
Seriously tho, I guess they cant mess up a good story. I may watch it, just to see. But I probably wont. Pwah!
