Mali Music is an artist that has apparently been out since 2002 and before... but I'm JUST now being put on to his stuff. Pure, neo/soul/rock/r&B take on Gospel music... really new age stuff here. But his sound is classic. His voice is timeless. I'm hooked! Here are some You tube faves:
Also, following the same Gospel genre, but dipping over into Christian Rap, I've been put on an artist called Canton Jones, and his album titled "Dominionaire". Listen for yourself - this brother is on to something... like Earth Wind and FIRE ahead of his time.
