My hair for whatever reason has decided to behave himself/herself ( I think I should name my hair now..to give it a proper gender... ) SIX days (technically) after a stretched twistout. Here's a bit of a time line:
So I did a regular Wash and Condition, nothing fancy.
Doo Gro Tea tree oil on my scalp, Cantu Leave-In on my hair.
8-10 braids ( I dont remember how many!)
Squished some water based oil moisterizer thru the braids.
Pulled and them and pinned wherever they strecthed to on my head. See Curly Nikki Stretch Method.
Donned a cute slouchy beanie ( with satin scarf underneath! )
Day 1 Left the braids in for 24hrs. Unbraided, went to my company Holiday Party. The party sucked, but I looked Fab!!
Day 2 ( sunday I wore it pinneappled and stayed in the house all day sick. Womp Womp. ) So this day kinda doesnt count.
Day 3 Work day! I ponytailed it because I was not feeling well still, and I wanted my hair to cover my ears a bit. :) #Sikkyladyhair
Day 4 and 5 Work day, out, pinned up the top. It was a little dry and I was determined to wash it... buttt... I fell asleep early. Oh well.
Day 6 (Today! Yay! )
How long do YOUR twistouts last? What is your secret?! : )

Giiirrrrl I love a good twistout!! What did you put in it? Is that just your hair texture? - Kris
I used Cantu Leave-in post wash, Shea butter while tension blow drying to just damp, and tea tree oil on the scalp. Nothing else. My texture probably does show a bit more towardthe end of the Twist out, but this pattern is mostly created by the twists. :)
CUTE! I love your lil anecdotes! I'm a follower now! :) -Kris
